Magnolia

Nashville was home to me for three years.  Three hard, beautiful, lonely, love filled, growing pain inducing, shake your soul, kick start your heart, incredible years.  I love that city.  While living there, I wrote and recorded the prophetically named Magnolia.  What started as another nod to the significance and power of deep heartbreak, became a testament to the relief that comes from slowly, messily, clumsily getting better, and finding the way back home. For that reason, and for so many others, this little collection of music means the world to me.  Above is the closing track of the EP, “Poets & Preachers”.

If you’d like to give Magnolia a listen, you can purchase it on iTunes.
